Training Overview

This class will supply Basic System Administration training on the Avaya Communication Manager PBX system and the Avaya Communication Manager Messaging (ACMM). By using the Avaya Site Administration (ASA) application, users will be able to directly manage the Avaya CM and CMM platforms. The training is designed to help in providing the on-site system administrator with the required knowledge and tools for the day to day activities surrounding the administration of the Avaya CM PBX system. It is meant to be a review of the most required and requested jobs needed to be completed by most customers and administrators when managing their system.

  • Access the ASA software for system management
  • Create or Edit users within the ACM and CMM systems
  • Move stations from one port to another
  • Understand Hunt Groups and how to build them
  • Record system announcements
  • Administer user passwords
  • Have a grasp of both Class of service and Class of restriction
  •  

Time for Q&A and review is provided at the end of the course. We will train at your location for groups of 1 to 300.
